Remember those that have served Canada in the Nation’s Capital on Remembrance Day 2013. In partnership with Operation Veteran and the Canadian War Museum, EF will be leading student tours to Ottawa to take part in this day of commemoration. With a multiple tour options and activities available, there is something to for all Canadian teachers and students who want to bring their classroom to life.

With support of Operation Veteran, an organization established by Dr. Paul Kavanagh designed to provide meals for service men and women at the Canadian War Museum as a thank you for their contribution to the country they have so proudly served, students will have the opportunity to dine with veterans on this significant day of remembrance. Operation Veteran also plays an integral role in the educational programming at the Canadian War Museum that fosters a truly educational experience.

Committed to preserving Canada’s war history, the Canadian War Museum allows visitors an opportunity to reflect on the service and sacrifice of those that have served Canada. Students will take part in educational workshops further enhancing the educational benefit of this unique tour experience.

Operation Veteran: Remembrance Day in Ottawa

EF’s Remembrance Day 2013 tours are a transformative experience that young Canadians will never forget.
